Updating your personal information is completely voluntary. However, we highly recommend that you update your personal information so that your organization can better understand how the groups you identify with are experiencing the organization.
Here is the personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used in our system.
Preferred Name or Nickname is the name you would like Culture Booster and others to address you as. This name may or may not be listed correctly in your company's Human Resource Information System (HRIS).
We collect your preferred name as a sign of respect. Using preferred names aligns with our goal of creating a psychologically safe, non-discriminatory, and equitable world.
Preferred Name is used on your Employee Card, 1:1s, Dashboard greeting, all email communications, and via all search fields throughout our platform.
Pronouns are the words we use when we’re not using a person’s name.
We collect your pronouns to demonstrate respect and create an environment of inclusivity and belonging while using our platform.
Pronouns are used on your Employee Card and 1:1’s.
We collect each of the following labels for use in the reporting section of our surveys. This information helps us understand how each group relates to and experiences your organization.
Each of the labels is used on the survey reporting graphs and is a filterable option in the survey reporting sections (each label’s use is subject to our minimum group reporting standards).
Gender identity is a person's internal sense of self and one’s own gender.
Ethnicity is a group whose members identify with each other on the basis of common nationality or shared cultural traditions.
Sexual orientation refers to the gender, genders or identities outside the gender binary to whom an individual is inherently sexually and romantically attracted to.
Date of birth is how we collect generational cohort information. We base our generational spans on Pew Research groupings.
An individual with a disability is a person who has a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities, has a record of such an impairment, or is regarded as having such an impairment.
The default minimum group reporting is set to 3. This means at least 3 people from a demographic group need to have taken the survey before results for that group can be displayed in the reporting section of our surveys.
The minimum value also applies to combinations of groups. As an example, you can't isolate scores for Sales in Minneapolis (Department demographic plus Location demographic), unless at least 3 people in that category submitted their survey.
Your biography appears on your Employee Card.
